Welcome to my blog
I'm brand new to blogging and haven't a clue as to what I am doing, but I hope you'll drop by from time to time. I love to make new friends.
To let you know a little about me.....
I'm a mom to Mark and Michelle and grammy to Chad, 19, Ché, 16, Ty, 10 and Dylan, 9. My family is everything to me. I've had a few rough years and only made it through cuz of them. My mum, age 90, is my best friend and supporter. I am so fortunate to still have her in my life.
Several years ago, I had to leave work in the banking industry due to a disability. I had no idea how I was going to fill my time. I started to have dreams telling me to paint....which was great, but I didn't know how to paint. I chose to listen to my dreams, took a few classes and then, I found a book by Priscilla Hauser. I practiced painting her roses day after day...at least a hundred every day.
The next thing I knew, I was selling my work on eBay. It has been very good to me, but I am now trying to spread my wings and see what else I can do and where else I can go.
In this blog, I'm planning to include some painting tips, share some pictures and since I like to talk, probably a lot of my inner thoughts.
